    The texture of this soup can range from a very thick variety, which resembles chowder, to a thinner variety which is more like boullion. Shredded pork is mixed with salt, sugar, and potato starch, then a variety of different ingredients, such as tofu, carrots, mushrooms and egg drop, are added to the soup.
