Taro Ball

    Taro Ball is a famous delicacy in Jiufen, which is a tourist attraction in northern Taiwan. The purple and yellow colors of the taro ball show two types of ingredients: the former taro and the latter sweet potato. This snack is served in a brown sugar soup and often served with legumes such as red beans, mung beans, and soya balls. It is served hot in the winter and iced in the summer.
